Who We Help

We work with children, teens, and adults across Chicago and virtually throughout Illinois and Washington state. Whether you’re navigating social communication, neurodivergence, or simply want to speak with confidence — we’re here to support you.

Joyful community gathering in Chicago celebrating connection, movement, and expression—values reflected in speech therapy sessions.

What is applied improvisation?

Applied improvisation (commonly known as improv comedy) is the practice of using improvisation techniques, often derived from theater, to enhance skills like communication, collaboration, creativity, and adaptability in real-life situations.

Unlike traditional improv, which is focused on performing comedy or drama, applied improv is used in workplaces, education, and personal development to help people think on their feet, solve problems, and build stronger relationships. It's about being present, responding to the unexpected, and using "yes, and" thinking to build on ideas constructively.
